FENCE COST IN DALLAS
A $1 fence with $38 worth of material?
SOMETHING DOESN’T ADD UP.
When a price sounds unusually low, it’s worth asking what is actually included. Cedar, steel posts, concrete, rails, fasteners and finish materials all have real costs before labor even begins. If the material alone is worth more than the advertised price, something in the equation is being left out.
That doesn’t automatically mean someone is doing anything wrong. It may mean a teaser price, a stripped-down build, different materials, or important items added later. We’d rather show you the numbers up front so you can compare the actual construction, not just the headline.
A fence should be easy to understand: what it’s made from, how it’s built, and what you’re paying for.

GOOD FENCES SHOULD STAY LOOKING GOOD.
For customers who choose to have their fence stained, we use Sherwin-Williams WoodScapes® Exterior Stain. It gives cedar a rich, even finish while allowing the natural character of the wood to remain part of the design.
Just as important, it helps protect the fence from sun, moisture, mildew, peeling, and everyday weathering preserving both the appearance and the material for years to come.
Staining is available as an optional upgrade and is not included in our starting fence prices.
